Syria meets Europe is a non-profit registered association, making your donations eligible for tax deductions according to your individual applicable tax regulations. After your donation, you will receive an official receipt for tax purposes. Note for donations within Germany: The limit for the simplified proof of donation remains at 300 € (as of 2024), which means that donors up to this amount do not need a detailed proof of donation. The bank statement with ‘Donation’ as the intended use is sufficient.
